More info: Specifically, users may see the edit button greyed out or not visible at all. As a workaround, admins may be able to manually run the following script “Set-SPOSite -DenyAddAndCustomizePages 0”, to re-enable custom script through PowerShell to mitigate impact.

Current status: We’ve completed the validation of the fix and it’s scheduled for release. We expect the fix to take approximately two weeks to complete deployment to all affected users.
