More info: Affected users may have seen issues while using Microsoft 365 apps through the My Apps Single Sign On (SSO) method (myapplications.microsoft.com/). When authenticating with SSO, impacted users may have received a message stating, “Something went wrong… Authentication error”.

Final status: After a period of extended monitoring, we’ve confirmed with service health telemetry and previously affected users that reverting the recent change resolved the issue.

Scope of impact: This issue could have potentially affected any user that attempted to authenticate to Microsoft 365 through the My Apps Single Sign On (SSO) flow.
