User impact: Users are unable to see targeted devices while configuring specific Microsoft Defender for Endpoint policies.

More info: Specifically, some users may be unable to see the targeted devices or device counts for all Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Asset Rule Management policies while attempting to configure them. Rule configuration and application itself is unaffected, however, users are unable to identify the devices or see device counts.

Current status: We’ve identified that a recently applied service feature, intended to improve functionality relating to Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Asset Rule Management policies, inadvertently introduced a regression which is causing impact. We’ve developed and are applying a fix to correct the regression, to remediate impact. We expect to complete the deployment of our fix by the time of our next scheduled update.

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure.
