Current status: We’re continuing to verify the effectiveness of the potential fix deployed to an isolated section of our internal infrastructure. We’re conducting multiple targeted restarts of machines containing the fix to ensure the expected relief is achieved. Additionally, we’re closely monitoring our diagnostic telemetry data to isolate the root cause of the issue, and we’re reviewing the overall service health during this process. Once we’ve determined the effectiveness of the fix, we’ll begin deploying it to the wider environment.

Scope of impact: Some users serviced by the impacted portion of infrastructure sending or receiving email in Exchange Online may be affected, although impact is limited to a small subset of messages.
