Coming soon for Microsoft Purview | Endpoint Data Loss Protection (DLP): A new feature to apply blanket protection to unscannable file types. After you turn on this policy, you will apply this policy to files that cannot be scanned. This message is associated with Roadmap ID 464998. [When this will happen:] Public Preview: We will begin rolling out mid-March 2025 and expect to complete by mid-March 2025. General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out late March 2025 and expect to complete by late March 2025. [How this will affect your organization:] With this new capability, Microsoft Purview DLP is now providing blanket protection for unscannable files.
