User impact: Users receive an error when attempting to use multiple Microsoft Purview features.

Current status: The configuration change we mentioned in the previous communications did not provide the intended relief. However, alongside application of that configuration change we were also developing a parallel mitigation strategy throughout the event. We’ve made significant progress on testing this new mitigation strategy. Due to the complexity of the strategy, we estimate another three hours of testing is required. Once we’ve verified that strategy is a comprehensive solution, we’ll establish a rollout timeline and will proceed with applying the needed updates to the production environment.

Scope of impact: Any user or admin attempting to use Purview Risk Management services or access the Communication Compliance Center is affected.
