User impact: Users’ saved Outlook calendar views may not be preserved.

More info: This issue may impact users who are leveraging Outlook on the web, the new Outlook desktop client experience, or those who have the new Calendar enabled in Microsoft Teams.

Current status: We’ve developed and begun deploying a fix to prevent newly created saved views from becoming impacted, and anticipate this will take effect by our next update. In parallel, we’re continuing to prepare a fix to restore the expected behavior to Outlook calendar saved views that have already been impacted.

Scope of impact: Any user may be impacted by this event if they’re on Outlook on the web, the new Outlook desktop client, or using the new Calendar on Microsoft Teams and have saved Outlook calendar views.

Root cause: A recent service update contains a code issue that’s preventing the service from recognizing saved view calendar IDs.
