More info: While we work to address the issue, admins in impacted organizations may be able to circumvent impact by pausing Windows Feature Updates until the code fix has been developed, tested, and deployed. Devices which haven’t yet reached the In Progress, Update state with the Install started substate will not be impacted. These states can be checked in “Organization report” if devices are enabled to share diagnostic telemetry. Current status: We’ve confirmed that after the repair job, no new devices are expected to install unintended Windows 11 updates. We recommend that admins remove the pause on Windows Feature Updates for a few devices to ensure that it’s working as expected, before removing the pause for the remaining devices. Devices that already received the upgrade instruction may need intervention by the admin.
