User impact: Users’ SharePoint Online links in Microsoft Teams and Exchange Online aren’t being scanned by Safe Links.

Current status: Our additional analysis has determined that impact isn’t specific to files or documents received through SharePoint Online and that any SharePoint Online link sent through Microsoft Teams or Exchange Online isn’t being scanned by Safe Links. We’ve updated the Title, and User Impact portions of our communications to reflect this new understanding. We’ve identified a network routing problem that was introduced by the recent service update, and while exploring alternate options for addressing the network problems, we’re continuing with our change reversion process in our efforts to remediate the impact.

Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users who are served through the affected infrastructure and have an E5 license.
