This issue may allow users to see and install Teams-specific public apps that are blocked by your organization’s policies, though line-of-business apps aren’t impacted.

Current status: We’ve identified a recent change to the Teams-specific public applications ingestion process which is resulting in impact. We’re applying a targeted fix to ensure the apps are filtered as intended.

Scope of impact: Any user whose organization’s polices block Teams-specific public apps in the Microsoft Teams admin center may be erroneously able to see and install them in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
