User impact: Users may be unable search for email or calendar items in Groups in Exchange Online.

More info: This issue may impact any Groups search in the new Outlook desktop client and Outlook on the web; however, it could impact additional connection methods where this feature is available. Specifically, when a user enters text into the search bar limited to a Group, no results are returned and there is no indication that the search action was processed. This occurs whether a user hits “Enter” or clicks on the search icon after entering text. General Outlook search isn’t affected

Current status: We’ve identified through our HAR log review that the search requests from Outlook aren’t routing to the search API responsible for handling those requests. We’re reviewing recent updates to the API and client to identify why this is happening.

Scope of impact: Users searching for email or calendar items in Groups in Outlook may be affected.
