User impact: Users may be unable to install user targeted apps that have been made available in the Intune Company Portal. More info: Users may see the app download stuck as “Download Pending.” While we work on our long-term fix, impacted users should update their Intune clients from version 1.101.103.0 to 1.101.105.0 in order to receive this short-term fix and bypass impact. Current status: We’re continuing to monitor our short-term fix deployment as it saturates throughout the affected infrastructure while validating its efficacy through analyzing service health telemetry. In tandem, we’re deploying our long-term fix as version 1.101.109.0 in order to fully remediate impact for this issue. We’ll provide a timeline for this long-term fix saturation and full impact remediation as one becomes available. Scope of impact: Impact is specific to some users attempting to install user targeted apps in the Intune Company Portal. This information may be updated as our investigation continues. Start time: Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 3:30 AM UTC Root cause: A recent service update introduced a regression that prevented app installations from progressing as expected which changed how a required configuration file was packaged, resulting in the file not being available and preventing app downloads from completing.
