User impact: Users may not see chart data when using the Power BI light theme dashboard.

More info: This display issue impacts the appearance of cartesian charts only, such as bar charts and line charts.

As we develop our long-term remediation, users can choose to keep the report theme when pinning charts or use any dashboard theme other than light mode.

Current status: We’ve identified that a recent code change has resulted in all data in charts pinned to the Power BI dashboard when choosing the light theme for chart display to show as black. We’re developing a long-term fix for this issue, which we expect to be available by the time of our next scheduled communications update.

Scope of impact: This issue may impact any user who’s attempting to view data on a cartesian chart pinned to the Power BI dashboard with light theme enabled. This information may be updated as our investigation continues.
