Additionally, users may intermittently receive calendar invite email messages as a plain text message containing winmail.dat attachments.<\/p>\n

Users may be able to send affected messages by attempting to resend. This may not be effective for all users.<\/p>\n

Current status: Our fix has saturated 98 percent of all affected regions, and a majority of customers should be experiencing relief. Users who received NDR messages should now be able to resend them. For the remaining two percent of the affected infrastructure, we\u2019re reviewing our targeted deployment options to determine if we can help to expedite the process to fully resolve the impact. We understand the impact this has on your organization and appreciate your patience while we focus on our fix.<\/p>\n

Scope of impact: Some users serviced by the impacted portion of infrastructure sending or receiving email in Exchange Online may be affected, although impact is limited to a small subset of messages.<\/p>\n
