Additionally, users may intermittently receive calendar invite email messages as a plain text message containing winmail.dat attachments.<\/p>\n

Users may be able to send affected messages by attempting to resend. This may not be effective for all users.<\/p>\n

Current status: We’ve determined that resending email messages for a limited set of customers has been successful. We’re now preparing the remaining affected infrastructure to apply the same steps. Once preparation is complete, we’ll proceed with resending all remaining affected messages.<\/p>\n

Scope of impact: Some users serviced by the impacted portion of infrastructure sending or receiving email in Exchange Online may be affected, although impact is limited to a small subset of messages.<\/p>\n
