More info: The issue only affects one user at a time during Microsoft Teams meetings or group calls. The affected user can restore their video by turning their camera off and then back on again; however, another user then becomes affected.?This issue appears on Microsoft Teams Meeting Room devices and the Windows and Mac desktop clients.?<\/p>\n

Current status: We?ve initiated the deployment of our fix to address the additional impact affecting Microsoft Teams group calls that include video, resulting in users seeing a black screen during affected meetings. We still anticipate that this deployment should complete by the end of January, 2023, and expect we?ll have a more accurate estimation for full impact resolution by our next update.?<\/p>\n

Scope of impact: Some users may be affected by this and may see a black screen during Microsoft Teams meetings or group calls.<\/p>\n

Root cause: A change intended to improve video stream rendering for Microsoft Teams meetings introduced the logic error resulting in the miscalculation when rendering video streams.<\/p>\n
