To resolve impact in the meantime, we recommended for all devices with ReFS enabled revert back to the previous update, and not utilize the KB5053606, KB5053643, KB5053602, KB5053657, KB5053603, KB5053598 or KB5053596 updates.<\/p>\n

Final status: While we were preparing the long-term solution for deployment, we’ve applied a configuration change to disable the offending code and remediate impact. We’ve confirmed impact is no longer occurring after a period of monitoring.<\/p>\n

Scope of impact: Any user may have been affected by this event and experienced crashes on ReFS enabled devices.<\/p>\n
