Coming soon to the Web<\/i> tab in Microsoft 365 Copilot and in Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat: Users will be able to use the Attach cloud files feature<\/i> to access Microsoft One Drive or Microsoft SharePoint to find and insert cloud files in their prompts. Before this rollout, the Attach cloud files<\/i> feature opened Windows Explorer. <\/p>\n

This message applies to Copilot on the web and Copilot in the Windows desktop app. <\/p>\n

Users can access this feature with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license or a Microsoft 365 license. <\/p>\n

General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out late April 2025 (previously early April) and expect to complete by late May 2025 (previously mid-April). <\/p>\n

After this rollout, users will find this feature in the Copilot chat box. If users have a Work <\/i>and Web <\/i>tab in their Copilot experience, this feature is on the Web <\/i>tab. Users can select + Add content<\/i> and then select the cloud icon in the top right corner to display the option to Upload cloud files:<\/i><\/p>\n
