Affected users may receive the following error: “Need more information. To satisfy your organization’s security policy, an additional step is required.”<\/p>\n

While we’re working to remediate this issue, affected users can attach these items using other connection methods, including:
– Outlook on the web
– Classic Outlook
– Outlook desktop clients
– Outlook mobile<\/p>\n

Current status: We\u2019ve completed deployment of the fix to all affected environments. Some users may need to restart the new Outlook for Windows application to experience relief. We\u2019re monitoring the service and awaiting verification from affected users to confirm full resolution.<\/p>\n

Scope of impact: Some users attempting to attach certain Microsoft 365 content to email messages using the new Outlook for Windows may be affected.<\/p>\n
