Current status: We’ve analyzed the logs gathered from our internal reproduction and identified that a recent service update introduced a configuration issue that\u2019s causing an index our service utilizes for querying email messages and their associated attachments to become stale. Since the index is stale, the query fails, and attachments get stuck in an in progress state. We’ve developed and deployed a fix to address the configuration issue, and we’re migrating the affected mailboxes to an alternate portion of service infrastructure to allow for the index to update to the expected value and remediate the impact. Note that we\u2019ve updated the Title and User impact of this event to better align with the user experience.<\/p>\n
