Final status: We’ve completed deployment of the fix to correct the code regression and confirmed through internal testing that the impact is remediated.<\/p>\n

Scope of impact: Impact was specific to some users who are based in the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions attempting to access some Microsoft 365 sites.<\/p>\n

Start time: Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 10:30 PM UTC<\/p>\n

Root cause: A recent feature update, intended to introduce new service logic, contained a code regression that caused site rendering to fail and display a 500 error.<\/p>\n
