User impact: Admins’ EMT reports may be stuck in an ”InProgress” state in Exchange Online.<\/p>\n

More info: The problem occurs in the Exchange admin center and when using PowerShell. As a workaround, some admins may be able to utilize messageTraceV2, for message tracking-related data for the last 30 days.<\/p>\n

Current status: We’ve developed and implemented a fix that corrected the configuration change and we expect has remediated impact. We’re monitoring as the backlog of EMT reports are delivered to confirm impact is completely remediated.<\/p>\n

Scope of impact: The problem impacts admins running EMT reports from the Exchange admin center and PowerShell.<\/p>\n

Root cause: A recent configuration change contains a regression that\u2019s preventing EMT reports from exporting content. As a result, EMT reports get stuck in an \u201cInProgress\u201d state and queue for completion within Exchange Online.<\/p>\n
