To benefit from these enhancements, users must be on the latest version of OneNote.<\/p>\n<p>[When this will happen:]<\/p>\n<p>The rollout completed at the end of June 2025<\/p>\n<p>[How this affects your organization:]<\/p>\n<p>Users on older versions of OneNote may experience sync interruptions, including:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Notebooks opening as read-only with a \u201cRefresh\u201d prompt  <\/li>\n<li>Messages like \u201cSaved offline C Refresh\u201d  <\/li>\n<li>Sync error messages with code E000006C (cig68)  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These issues will persist until users update their apps or click the \u201cRefresh\u201d prompt.
