Current status: We\u2019ve completed the aforementioned validation and testing for our secondary fix. While we\u2019re seeing positive effects from this fix, we\u2019ve identified additional testing and validations are necessary to understand how our fix could potentially affect policies. We\u2019re estimating this process will have completed by our next scheduled communications update, at which time we will begin deploying our fix. We anticipate deployment will complete and fully resolve the issue by Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 1:00 AM UTC.<\/p>\n

Scope of impact: Some non-global admins managed by scope tags attempting to edit Endpoint Security policies that were previously edited in the Microsoft Intune admin center may be impacted.<\/p>\n
