Thank you for your patience.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Introduction<\/b><\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re introducing <b>cross-cloud synchronization<\/b> in Microsoft Entra to help organizations streamline user lifecycle management across Microsoft\u2019s commercial, US Government, and China cloud environments. This feature automates creating, updating, and   deleting users across supported cloud pairs and is currently in public preview. It is  <b>off by default<\/b> and must be explicitly enabled by administrators.<\/p>\n<p><b>When this will happen<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>General availability (Worldwide, GCC, GCCH, DoD):<\/b> The capability is currently in public preview and will be rolled out to general availability  <b>between late September 2025 <\/b>(previously early September)<b> and early October 2025  <\/b>(previously mid-October).<\/p>\n<p><b>How this will affect your organization<\/b><\/p>\n<p>There is <b>no impact to your tenant unless you choose to enable this feature<\/b>. Cross-cloud synchronization is opt-in and can be configured based on your organization\u2019s needs. It provides a more efficient way to manage users across multiple Microsoft   cloud environments.  <\/p>\n<p>Supported cloud pairs:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Commercial (Commercial, GCC) \u2192 US Government (GCCH, DoD)<\/li>\n<li>US Government (GCCH, DoD) \u2192 Commercial (Commercial, GCC)<\/li>\n<li>Commercial \u2192 China  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This feature is <b>not visible to users<\/b>. Administrators attempting to configure it in the Entra portal will receive a  <b>licensing warning<\/b> if prerequisites are not met.<\/p>\n<p><b>What you need to do to prepare<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Organizations planning to use cross-cloud synchronization should be aware of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A <b>Microsoft Entra ID Governance \/ Microsoft Entra Suite license<\/b> is required for each user in the source tenant that is being synchronized across clouds.
