[Introduction:]<\/b><\/p>\n

Based on your feedback, we\u2019re introducing a new capability<\/b> in the Service Health Dashboard (SHD)<\/i> that allows admins to archive \u201cIssues in your organization that require action\u201d <\/i>posts<\/b>. You can archive issues for yourself or for your entire organization, giving you more control over how service health information is displayed.<\/p>\n

General availability (Worldwide):<\/b> We will begin rolling out in mid-November 2025<\/b> and expect to complete by the end of November 2025<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Who is affected:<\/b> Admins managing Service Health Dashboard in Microsoft 365 Admin Center<\/i>.<\/p>\n

What will happen: <\/b><\/p>\n

You can now archive issues in two ways:<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

    <\/p>\n
  • For yourself:<\/b>
    \n
      <\/p>\n
    • Moves the issue to the Issue history <\/b>tab (visible only to you).<\/li>\n
    • Other admins still see it in the Overview<\/b> tab.<\/li>\n
    • You can restore the issue if needed.<\/li>\n
    • The issue still appears on the M365 Admin Center homepage.<\/li>\n

    • For your entire organization:<\/b>

        <\/p>\n
      • Moves the issue to the Issue history<\/b> tab for all admins.<\/li>\n
      • Other admins see that it was archived for the organization and the reason provided.<\/li>\n
      • They can restore the issue if needed.<\/li>\n
      • The issue is dismissed from the M365 Admin Center homepage.<\/li>\n

        • Archived issues remain in the Issue history<\/b><\/i> tab for 7 or 14 days from the original publish date.<\/li>\n

          <\/p>\n

        • Dismissing an issue on the M365 Admin Center homepage does not remove it from the Overview tab in the Service Health Dashboard. It will continue to appear in SHD unless archived.<\/li>\n

          Admin controls:<\/b><\/p>\n

          • Enabled by default <\/b>for admins with Service Health Dashboard access.<\/li>\n
          • No toggle or policy in the Microsoft 365 admin center to disable archiving.<\/li>\n
          • Role-based access applies: Global Admins can archive issues.<\/li>\n
          • No additional configuration steps required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
