Some users see meetings scheduled an hour ahead of the intended time within Outlook on the web, Outlook mobile, the Outlook desktop client, and all Microsoft Teams connection methods when accessing the calendar.<\/p>\n

Please confirm that users’ devices are fully patched and up-to-date. For on-premises organizations, please also confirm your servers are fully patched and up-to-date.<\/p>\n

For an immediate fix for reoccurring meetings created on or before April 1, 2023, that also had an instance of this meeting modified after this date, meeting organizers can make any small update, such as editing the subject or body, and save the change.<\/p>\n

Current status: We’ve completed the validation process for our fix to repair the remaining affected event invites, and we’re preparing this fix for deployment to the affected service environments. We anticipate that the fix will be fully deployed by Thursday, June 15, 2023, after which we’ll test to confirm that impact is remediated for all users. Some users may experience mitigation before the expected date as the fix saturates in the impacted environments.<\/p>\n

Scope of impact: This issue could affect any attendee with meetings scheduled by some users in the Mexico region.<\/p>\n

Estimated time to resolve: We anticipate that the fix to repair the remaining affected event invites will be fully deployed by Thursday, June 15, 2023.<\/p>\n

Root cause: A code conflict during meeting creation and updating is causing time zone data to be handled incorrectly for some meetings.<\/p>\n
