Current status: During the investigation of an incident reported by an affected admin, we isolated that admins across multiple affected environments may be unable to edit some Exchange Online Transport rules with a large number of property values. We’ve isolated a code regression that occurs in unique scenarios where editing requests for Transport rules containing a large number of property values results in timeouts and eventual failures. We’ve deployed a code change to increase the timeout window for these requests, which we anticipate will have saturated across affected environments by the time of our next scheduled update. This will allow us to validate if impact is resolved at that time.<\/p>\n

Scope of impact: Some admins may be unable to edit some Exchange Online Transport rules with a large number of property values. This section may be updated as the investigation progresses.<\/p>\n
