More info: This issue may impact the Microsoft Teams and Exchange Online services. Specifically, the time zone is portraying the time as one hour earlier than expected.<\/p>\n

Additionally, affected users may encounter the issue when viewing Microsoft Teams calendar events from the web app in the Microsoft Edge browser, desktop client or mobile application. As a workaround, affected users may be able to manually update their local Windows time-zone.<\/p>\n

Current status: We’ve verified the fix in our internal testing environments and initiated it’s deployment. Affected users part of the public preview program who are using the new Microsoft Teams preview should expect the fix by the end of May. For all other affected users who are using the original version of Microsoft Teams, should expect the fix by the end of June.<\/p>\n

Scope of impact: Users in the IRST time zone or those who have their accounts set up for the time zone may be impacted by this event.<\/p>\n

Root cause: A configuration file within the Microsoft Teams Calendar code base that adjusts regional time zones isn’t configurated as expected, resulting in users in IRST time zone to see the incorrect time.<\/p>\n
