Thank you for your patience.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Introduction<\/b><\/p>\n<p>  <\/p>\n<p>As announced earlier in MC616550 (June 2023), InfoPath Forms Service in SharePoint Online is being retired and will be removed from existing tenants after July 14, 2026. To support this transition and reduce future migration effort, Microsoft will prevent   the publication of InfoPath forms in SharePoint Online for all tenants ahead of the service\u2019s retirement.<\/p>\n<p><b>When this will happen:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>  <\/p>\n<ul>  <\/p>\n<li><b>After May 18, 2026<\/b>: Publishing new InfoPath forms or publishing updates to existing forms will be blocked<\/li>\n<p>  <\/p>\n<li><b>July 14, 2026<\/b>: InfoPath Forms Service will be fully retired<\/li>\n<p>  <\/ul>\n<p><b>How this affects your organization:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>  <\/p>\n<p><b>Who is affected:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>  <\/p>\n<ul>  <\/p>\n<li>All SharePoint Online tenants<\/li>\n<p>  <\/p>\n<li>InfoPath designers, publishers, and site owners<\/li>\n<p>  <\/p>\n<li>IT administrators managing SharePoint Online<\/li>\n<p>  <\/ul>\n<p><b>What will happen:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>  <\/p>\n<ul>  <\/p>\n<li><b>After May 18, 2026<\/b>, new InfoPath forms cannot be published<\/li>\n<p>  <\/p>\n<li>Modifications to existing InfoPath forms cannot be published<\/li>\n<p>  <\/p>\n<li>Existing published forms will remain available and usable<\/li>\n<p>  <\/p>\n<li>There is no option to extend InfoPath Forms Service beyond retirement<\/li>\n<p>  <\/ul>\n<p><b>What you can do to prepare:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>To understand how InfoPath is used in your organization, you can run the <a href=\"https:\/\/pnp.github.io\/pnpassessment\/infopath\/readme.html\">  Microsoft 365 Assessment tool<\/a> to scan the tenant for InfoPath usage. Using the  <a href=\"https:\/\/pnp.github.io\/pnpassessment\/infopath\/report-intro.html\">Power BI InfoPath Report<\/a> generated by the scanner tool, you can:<\/p>\n<ul>  <\/p>\n<li>Identify all InfoPath Forms usage in the tenant, per site collection and site.<\/li>\n<p>  <\/p>\n<li>Evaluate the recency and volume of usage of InfoPath Forms.<\/li>\n<p>  <\/p>\n<li>Understand lists, libraries, and content types that use InfoPath.<\/li>\n<p>  <\/ul>\n<p>We recommend communicating to the impacted site owners and teams inside your organization now, so they are aware of the coming change.<\/p>\n<p>For scenarios where InfoPath or InfoPath Forms Services are currently being used, we recommend migrating to  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/power-platform\/products\/power-apps\/\">Power Apps<\/a>,  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/power-platform\/products\/power-automate\/\">Power Automate<\/a>, or  <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/\">Microsoft Forms<\/a>. Please ensure that you allow adequate time for migration of any use of InfoPath or InfoPath Forms Services in your organization ahead of this date, as there is no migration tool provided. Additional instructions   on how to migrate can be found in <a href=\"https:\/\/techcommunity.microsoft.com\/blog\/spblog\/support-update-for-infopath-forms-services-in-microsoft-365\/3858190\">  this blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Note:<\/b> Please plan the migration appropriately as there will not be an option to extend InfoPath Forms Services beyond the InfoPath retirement date of July 14,
