Current status: We\u2019re deploying a fix for the additional issue affecting newer Teams builds. Some users will temporarily remain on a previous Teams version as a preventative measure to avoid further disruption while the fix is released as part of an upcoming Teams update. Based on our timeline, deployment of the fix is expected to complete by approximately May 7, 2026. After this, we\u2019ll begin removing the temporary version restrictions placed on some users. In the meantime, users who\u2019ve updated to the latest version of Teams and are still experiencing issues should restart the Teams app and sign out and back in again to ensure the updated configuration is applied. If the issue persists, admins should contact support to enable the temporary mitigation while the fix is being deployed. We’ll continue to monitor the deployment to ensure that is proceeds as expected.<\/p>\n
