We\u2019re expanding access to the AI Assistant<\/b> in the Teams Rooms Pro Management Portal<\/i> so more IT admins can quickly get answers about their rooms and devices. Previously available only to Global Admins, the AI Assistant will now be accessible to all portal roles<\/b> while continuing to enforce existing role-based access control (RBAC)<\/b>. This helps admins get faster insights without increasing access or visibility beyond what they already manage. This update is rolling out as a Public Preview starting the week of April 23, 2026, with General Availability planned for May 2026.<\/p>\n
