Current status: We’ve identified that an API communications issue within a section of infrastructure that handles authentication requests and alerts within the Microsoft 365 Defender portal is resulting in impact. We’re developing a fix to resolve the API communications issue and restore service.<\/p>\n

Scope of impact: This issue may impact any admin attempting to receive new alerts within the Microsoft 365 Defender portal.<\/p>\n

Root cause: An API communications issue within a section of infrastructure that handles authentication requests and alerts within the Microsoft 365 Defender portal is resulting in impact.<\/p>\n
