This capability helps IT teams stay informed and quickly respond to version-related   issues during rollout, improving operational visibility and client health management.<\/p>\n<p><b>[Rollout Schedule:]<\/b><\/p>\n<p>General Availability (Worldwide): Beginning in <b>late June 2026<\/b> and expect to complete by  <b>late June 2026<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>[Impact on Your Organization:]<\/b><\/p>\n<p>  <\/p>\n<ul>  <\/ul>\n<p><b>Who is affected:<\/b> Admins managing Microsoft Teams deployments in the Teams admin center.<\/p>\n<p><b>Platforms\/Services:<\/b>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Microsoft Teams desktop client<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Teams admin center<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What will happen:<\/b>  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A new alert rule named&nbsp;\u201cTeams client update rollout\u201d&nbsp;will be available in the Teams admin center.<\/li>\n<li>The alert is <b>disabled by default <\/b>and requires admin configuration.<\/li>\n<li>When enabled, admins will receive notifications when a new Teams desktop client version begins rollout in their tenant.<\/li>\n<li>Alerts can be configured based on:\n<ul>\n<li>Update ring (for example, Targeted or Standard release)<\/li>\n<li>Platform selection (such as Windows or macOS)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Alerts can be delivered via:\n<ul>\n<li>A Microsoft Teams channel<\/li>\n<li>A webhook URL for integration with external systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The alert rule is evaluated daily, and notifications are sent if conditions are met.<\/li>\n<li>No impact to users unless admins enable and configure the alert.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>  <\/ul>\n<p><b>[Action Required\/Recommendations:]<\/b><\/p>\n<p>  <\/p>\n<ul>  <\/ul>\n<p><b>Actions are required<\/b> for admins who want to use the feature.<\/p>\n<p><b>To enable alerts:<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>  <\/p>\n<li>Go to the <b>Microsoft Teams admin center<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Navigate to <b>Notifications and alerts &gt;
