While reviewing service monitoring telemetry to isolate the root cause of impact, we redeployed an instance of the Windows Autopilot service within the impacted infrastructure to clear the traffic processing pipeline. We subsequently identified from internal monitoring telemetry that our remediation efforts reduced latency, resolved the API issue, and remediated impact.<\/p>\n

Scope of impact: Impact was intermittently specific to some admin served through the affected infrastructure that attempt to register new devices into Windows Autopilot or update a specific subset of devices.<\/p>\n
