More info: Impacted users receive a Non-Delivery Report (NDR) that references a “MaxSendSize” issue.
Admins can use the “Set-Mailbox” cmdlet on the recently migrated user’s cloud object to set the MaxSendSize to unlimited, which should allow mail to flow.<\/p>\n

This affects tenants utilizing a hybrid structure and is not impacting the onboarding into datacenters.<\/p>\n

Current status: We\u2019ve updated this communication\u2019s Title, User impact, and Scope of impact statements to better reflect the impact caused by this event. Our additional analysis into the code base that facilitates MaxSendSize configurations has isolated the impacting code change that we believe is preventing users that have recently migrated from Exchange Online to on-premises from sending email messages. We’re internally validating a fix to address the recent change and expect we\u2019ll have a deployment timeline estimate once these validations have completed. <\/p>\n

Scope of impact: Any user that was recently migrated from Exchange Online to on-premises may be unable to send email and may receive a NDR.<\/p>\n
