More info: This issue affects custom, auto, and some system search properties that were created or modified during the period of Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 10:00 PM UTC, to Monday, January 9, 2023, at 6:00 AM UTC, and may result in searches not being confined to some parameters. Documents created or modified with custom and out-of-box properties such as NORMWEBID, NORMLISTID, NORMUNIQUEID, NORMWEBID, SITEID, etc. are affected.?<\/p>\n

This also affects properties on Microsoft Teams meeting recording files and transcripts.??<\/p>\n

Current status: While the issue is no longer occurring for newly created custom, auto, and system search properties, the reprocessing of the data from the period of impact to restore the functionality of those affected properties is taking longer than expected. We’re continuing to monitor as it progresses and we’re assessing possible options to expedite remediation. <\/p>\n

Scope of impact: This issue may affect any user saving custom, auto, and system search properties for SharePoint Online search and Microsoft Teams meeting recording files and transcripts.<\/p>\n

Root cause: A recent service update to tenant wide search components contained a code conflict, resulting in impact.<\/p>\n
