Users can access ‘Exposed Service’ or ‘Exposed shares’ data via advanced hunting.?<\/p>\n

Current status: We’ve developed and deployed a fix to address this regression, which we expect to be completed by our next scheduled update.?<\/p>\n

Scope of impact: Some users are unable to view ‘Exposed Service’ or ‘Exposed shares’ tabs in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.?<\/p>\n

Root cause: A recent change, which introduced new regional infrastructure and rerouted existing pathways for an unrelated service functionality, exposed a code regression and is subsequently leading to impact. <\/p>\n
