As a workaround for the signature issue, signatures can be added to email drafts manually, or be applied through the Outlook desktop client.<\/p>\n

We believe impact is specific to tenants configured with both split traffic between Evolved Security Token Service (ESTS) and Outlook on the web or IP enforcement conditional access policies.<\/p>\n

Current status: The validation process for our potential fix continues to progress as we work to address the authentication issue within our test tenant. The complexity of this issue is requiring additional testing of our potential solution before we can ensure that it fully remediates all aspects of impact associated with this event. We’ll provide an estimated timeline for the fix deployment once our validation process has completed, and it becomes available. <\/p>\n

Root cause: A recent deployment, intended to resolve an unrelated issue by modifying the authentication pathway leveraged by the affected functionality, introduced an authentication issue that resulted in impact.<\/p>\n
