Without the correct marking, users are unable to easily determine in Outlook mobile and Outlook on the web if an email message has been replied to or forwarded. The Outlook desktop client is correctly displaying icons indicating that an email has been replied to or forwarded.<\/p>\n

Current status: Following our internal testing and validations, we’ve started deploying our fix to remediate the impact. Our solution has completed approximately 85 percent of the necessary deployment, and we’re monitoring the remaining saturation which is expected to have completed and resolved the problem by Wednesday, August 2, 2023. <\/p>\n

Scope of impact: Outlook mobile and Outlook on the web users may not see forwarded to or replied to icons next to email messages in those connection methods.<\/p>\n

Root cause: A recent update introduced a code issue, resulting in impact to replied to and forwarded icons in Outlook on the web and Outlook mobile.<\/p>\n
