More info: Impact is specific to admins who have the Sender Policy Framework (SPF) configuration enforcement applied and subscribed to MDI notification emails, and affects email notifications since Sunday, August 20, 2023, at 10:08 AM UTC and the following email notifications are affected, but not limited to:<\/p>\n

– Security alert notification
– Monitoring alert
– Daily report<\/p>\n

While we’re focused on remediation, admins can access the Microsoft 365 portal for full visibility of the email notifications.<\/p>\n

Current status: We’ve identified that a recent standard service update inadvertently contains a misconfiguration, which is resulting in email notifications to not be sent. We’re in the process of reverting the offending change, which we anticipate will be complete by our next scheduled update. We’ll proceed with monitoring the service to ensure progress towards remediation continues.<\/p>\n
