More info: Some admins using EmailEvents from the Email & collaboration schema in the Microsoft 365 Defender portal\u2019s Advanced Hunting may be unable to view some updated values in the LatestDeliveryLocation and LatestDeliveryAction columns for some Microsoft Defender for Office 365 records. Additionally for these records, RecipientEmailAddress in EmailPostDeliveryEvents aren\u2019t in lowercase, which won’t allow some admins to join EmailPostDeliveryEvents and EmailEvents using RecipientEmailAddress. <\/p>\n

If users observe any records in the Advanced Hunting EmailPostDeliveryEvents table with RecipientEmailAddress data not in lower case, users can switch to Threat Explorer for NetworkMessageIds and RecipientEmailAddress.<\/p>\n

Current status: We’ve identified a potential code fix for this issue and are running tests for this fix to ensure that it will not cause additional impact before potentially applying it to the affected infrastructure. Additionally, we’re continuing our investigation into isolating the underlying cause of this data inconsistency issue, and once we\u2019ve a validated remediation plan, we’ll provide a resolution timeline. <\/p>\n
