More info: Users can verify if they\u2019ve encountered this problem in Outlook for Mac by reviewing their Sent Items to validate if a sent message contains an attachment. If users don’t see the attachment, they can reply to the message in their Sent Items folder to reattach and send the message again.<\/p>\n

Current status: The supplemental fix discussed in our previous update is a temporary workaround to better help users understand when this problem is occurring. This change will prevent an email message with an attachment from appearing sent if the attachment removal scenario occurs and instead save a copy to a user’s Drafts folder. The user may then be able to resend the message successfully with the attachment from that folder. The deployment of this workaround has proven successful and is currently saturated to over 50 percent of the affected environment. We’ll provide additional updates to that deployment and also continue our work on developing a permanent remediation for this problem.<\/p>\n

Scope of impact: This issue is specific to a very small percentage of users’ email with attachments sent from Outlook for Mac.<\/p>\n
