The ongoing operation of existing connectors is not impacted by this event. If your organization uses one of the identified SKU(s) the issue can affect the modification of existing email transport connectors that were created before the impact start time.<\/p>\n

If you’re an admin within an organization whose Microsoft tenant was created on or after January 1, 2023, and you continue to see the issue described in this incident after February 6, 2023, please open a support ticket.<\/p>\n

Current status: We’re continuing to monitor the rollout of the fix, which has reached 85 percent of the affected environment as of Friday, February 3, 2023, at 8:30 PM UTC, and we anticipate the fix will fully roll out by Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at 12:00 AM UTC. Previously impacted customers may be able to create or modify connectors as users will experience relief as the fix saturates within their environment.<\/p>\n

Scope of impact: Any admin with the affected SKU(s) listed in the More info section will be unable to create new or modify existing email transport connectors.<\/p>\n

Root cause: A recent change to the service introduced a regression that may prevent some admins from creating or modifying Exchange email transport connectors within an organization with the affected SKU(s).<\/p>\n
