Updated February 6, 2023: We have updated the rollout timeline below. Thank you for your patience.<\/p>\n

The Room Remote feature enables touchless meetings by allowing users to control a nearby shared meeting room device from their Desktop\/PC with Teams client.  <\/p>\n

This feature was first launched on Mobile and will now be available on your Desktop device formfactor. <\/p>\n

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 95482<\/a><\/p>\n

[When this will happen]<\/p>\n

Rollout is expected to start mid-February (previously mid-January) and will complete mid-March (previously late January).<\/p>\n

[How this will affect your organization]<\/p>\n

This new feature will be automatically available on the Teams Desktop Client on your Windows Desktop PC so long that the Room Remote feature is enabled on the shared meeting room device and in TAC. <\/p>\n
