We are introducing guest setting option in Tag management settings.  <\/p>\n

[When this will happen:]<\/p>\n

Standard Release: We will begin rolling out early December 2023 and expect to complete by mid-December 2023.<\/p>\n

[How this will affect your organization:]<\/p>\n

In addition to the existing settings:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. “Microsoft default” <\/li>\n
  2. “Team owners only” <\/li>\n
  3. “Team owners and members” <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    We are adding another option in the settings: <\/p>\n

    <\/p>\n

          4. “Team owners, members and guests”<\/p>\n

    [What you need to do to prepare:]<\/p>\n

    If you do not wish for guests to be able to manage tags, no action is needed. <\/p>\n

    If you wish to allow guests to manage tags, as tenant Admin, please change your tag management settings to your “Team owners, members and guests” option setting. <\/p>\n

    Here are the steps you can take: <\/p>\n

    1. Sign into Microsoft Teams admin center at admin.teams.microsoft.com<\/a> if you are a Teams admin. <\/li>\n
    2. In the left navigation pane under Teams section, select Teams settings. <\/li>\n
    3. Under Tagging section, select “Team owners, members and guests” option for “Who can manage tags.”<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
