Final status: After reviewing HAR logs of the event, as well as the cmdlets utilized by the search service, we\u2019ve confirmed that a portion of infrastructure which eDiscovery utilizes for content search functionality wasn’t efficiently processing content search requests. We\u2019ve routed content search traffic away from the affected infrastructure, and confirmed with a subset of
admins that impact was successfully remediated.<\/p>\n

Scope of impact: This issue only affected admins in North America that were attempting to perform new eDiscovery (Standard) content searches.<\/p>\n
