More info: This issue specifically affects opening Microsoft Project Plan (MPP) files. Affected users can bypass the impact by starting the Microsoft Project Online desktop client before attempting to open MPP files. Once Microsoft Project Online has been started, affected users can open MPP files without issue. If impact reoccurs, users can start Microsoft Project Online on their desktop again to bypass the reoccurring impact. Additionally, users may be able to open these files through Project for the web as an alternative while we troubleshoot this problem.<\/p>\n
