In Microsoft Defender XDR services, the Approve release<\/i> action will be consolidated into the Release<\/i> action.  <\/p>\n

General Availability (GCC, GCC High, DoD): We will begin rolling out late July 2024 and expect to complete by early August 2024.<\/p>\n

[How this will affect your organization:] <\/p>\n

Previously, the Approve release<\/i> action was used by admins to approve a release request that was coming from an end user. We are consolidating the Approve release<\/i> and Release <\/i>actions so admins can use the Release <\/i>action to approve release requests coming from end users.  <\/p>\n

End users can use the Request release<\/i> action of a quarantined email.<\/p>\n

Admins can use the Release email<\/i> action to approve the requested release coming from the end user.  <\/p>\n

The Approve release<\/i> action will be eliminated.<\/p>\n
