It\u2019s a temporary solution while you migrate to PowerShell or a similar tool as WMIC undergoes deprecation. A new   article shows you how to check if you have WMIC as a FoD and how you can install it if you don\u2019t. Remember that later this year, WMIC FoD will be disabled by default on the next version of Windows 11 and Windows Server. However, if you need it in the meantime, you can install it as a Feature on Demand (FoD).&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><b>What you need to do to prepare:<\/b>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>To install WMIC FoD, go to Windows <b>Settings<\/b> &gt; <b>System<\/b> &gt; <b>Optional features<\/b> &gt;  <b>Installed features<\/b>. If WMIC isn\u2019t on the list of <b>Installed features<\/b>, do the following.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<ol>\n<li>At the top of the <b>Optional features<\/b> tab, locate <b>Add an optional feature<\/b>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>In that field, select <b>View features<\/b>.
